Two explosions target Hezbollah
convoy in Zahleh

Two explosive devices targeted a Hezbollah convoy comprised of three SUVs on the highway of the Beqaa area of Zahleh on Friday at 5:30 a.m., causing only material damage to one of the vehicle's windows.

NOW’s correspondent Mahmoud Shoker said that the first blast was followed by another 10 meters away.

Following the explosions, the passengers of the first SUV got out of the vehicle and began shooting in the air, after which the convoy resumed its route towards Beirut.

NOW’s correspondent reported that Lebanese Armed Forces and security agencies arrived immediately at the scene and cordoned off the area.

The bombing comes on the heels of a mysterious blast morning in which an explosive device weighing 150 grams and containing nails detonated on the highway near Lebanon’s eastern border with Syria at Masnaa.

Also, on June 10 an explosive device targeted a van and BMW vehicle in Beqaa’s Taanayel road.

The passengers of the first car got out of the vehicle and began shooting in the air.
