Syrian warplanes raid
Lebanon’s Arsal

BEIRUT - Syrian warplanes conducted air raids on the Lebanese Beqaa town of Arsal on Sunday.

Two rockets landed in the town but the location has not yet been determined, NOW’s correspondent Mahmoud Shoker reported.

Meanwhile, Arsal’s factions condemned terrorism regardless of its source and condemned the attack on their town.

“These are rockets of strife that only aim to create sedition and chaos,” the factions said in a statement following a meeting.

They also denounced the blocking of the road leading to Arsal and called on concerned authorities to consider the international road a “red line.”

The town factions called on President Michel Suleiman, Speaker Nabih Berri, and Prime Minister Tammam Salam to handle their responsibilities in this regard.

These are rockets of strife that only aim to create sedition and chaos.

Will the Syrian stooge Foreign Minister Bassil file a complaint against Syria at the UN? Or does he still consider Syria a "sister" country that can abuse its brother ad libitum without consequence?
