Grenade attack injures
five in Tripoli

BEIRUT - An unidentified man threw a grenade at a café in Tripoli on Tuesday evening, injuring five people.

 

The grenade was thrown at the Barsan café next to the Al-Mir bakery in Tripoli’s Zahriyeh neighborhood, leading to material damage.

 

NOW’s correspondent reported that five people were injured in the attack, naming them as George Akkari, Nabil Khashab, Jack Hanna, Michel Khadij, and Khalil Zouyout.

 

Voice of Lebanon (93.3) radio reported that three people were injured in the attack, identifying two of them as George Akkari and Nabil Khashab.
