Mirza says it is still not possible to estimate total loss in Salah Ezzedine bankruptcy case

During an interview published on Wednesday, Attorney General Judge Said Mirza told As-Safir newspaper that estimating the monetary loss and number of impacted investors in the Salah Ezzedine bankruptcy case is presently impossible since the investigation, which he said was ongoing, takes time. Mirza added that the penalty for fraud bankruptcy is three to seven years in prison.

As-Safir also said a legal source had estimated that the total loss did not exceed half a billion dollars, adding that the numbers were documented as evidence for the judicial system.
