Lebanon to send aid to flood-stricken Pakistan

High Relief Committee head Yahia Raad, Pakistani Ambassador to Lebanon Rana Rahim, Prime Minister Saad Hariri’s advisor Fadi Fawwaz, and airline officials met Monday at the Grand Serail to discuss sending a plane to Pakistan with humanitarian aid for those affected by flooding, the National News Agency (NNA) reported.

The worst natural disaster in Pakistan's history has already affected 20 million people in nearly a month of flooding triggered by heavy monsoon rain, and killed 1,500 people by official count.
