Four hand grenades found
near Syrian refugee camp

BEIRUT - Four hand grenades were found on Sunday morning near a Syrian refugee camp and the Future Movement’s main center in Akkar’s Kharibat al-Jundi town.

 

Security forces arrived at the scene and a military expert was called to inspect the explosives, the National News Agency reported.

 

Refugees living in Akkar had called for a protest to be held at 11 a.m. to voice their refusal of the Syrian presidential elections.
