BEIRUT - Twenty minutes after an air-to-ground missile was fired towards Lebanon’s Wadi Khaled, a Syrian Air Force plane fired two more missiles at the Khirbet al-Younin area east of Arsal from above the Beqaa town.

At the time of writing, Internal Security Forces have not been able to reach Khirbet al-Younin to determine if the strike caused any injuries because of the rough condition of the area’s roads, security sources told NOW on Thursday.

At approximately 9:30 AM, the Syrian Air Force fired an air-to-ground missile towards Wadi Khaled from above the Beqaa’s Arsal.

The same sources told NOW that the Wadi Khaled strike was related to fighting in the Qalaat al-Hosn area of Syria, which caused a large influx of refugees into North Lebanon on Thursday.
